Michael Ketani drives the technical strategy at Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia. He oversees the planning, building and operating of our IT systems, national optic fibre and 4G networks. He is additionally charged with driving digitalisation across all customer facing and internal systems.
Michael joined Liquid Intelligent Technologies from Airtel Networks Zambia, bringing more than 10 years’ experience at senior management level in network operations. He was instrumental in the commissioning of the country’s largest 4G network as well as transforming the network’s backhaul transmission from TDM to full IP. He has held a variety of roles in IP network design, system administration, core network operations, intelligent network operations, VAS and product engineering.
He holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications from the University of Zambia and has attended Cisco training in backbone routing and network security, as well as 4G radio access network training provided by Qualcomm and the Telecom Academy.
